Program Overview
Iowa has implemented the IowaDOT EV Incentive Program to offset the costs of installing Level 2 and Direct Current Fast Chargers (DCFCs). Entities seeking to install Level 2 and/or DCFCs can earn incentives that will offset some or all of the cost of installing these chargers. These incentives are available through applications submitted through the IowaDOT web page (linked below).
In addition to the IowaDOT Program, utility companies may offer additional incentives for the installation of Level 2 and DCFCs. For more information, please visit your utility company’s program guide (pg. 2).
